Planning Democracy is campaigning for a fair and inclusive planning system in Scotland. We exist because people feel they are not being listened to when important decisions get made about what is built in their local area.
To give people a stronger voice in the planning system we are campaigning for Equal Rights of Appeal. This is a change in the law to put communities on a level playing field. It would fix a blatant injustice in the planning system which gives developers more power than the communities they affect.
To help us do that we want to raise £450 to pay for a projector and screen. This will enable our champions across Scotland to give presentations about the campaign to local organisations and at public meetings. This will help us recruit grassroots support and increase the pressure for change in the lead up to the Scottish Parliamentary elections in May 2016.
